Farm labor shortage continues in California

Farmers in California continue to have trouble finding enough workers this year.

A California Farm Bureau Federation survey showed that 61-percent of farmers reported worker shortages, and 71-percent of farmers who grow labor-intensive crops reported not having enough workers.

That's despite farmers offering higher pay, adjusting harvest and pruning times, and in some cases, planting fewer acres.
