The first blaze started just before 5 p.m. Friday at a home on Goldenrod near Ashlan Avenue.
Crews contained the flames in less than 15 minutes, and no one was hurt. But the fire caused $30,000 in damage.
Officials say the second arson fire started around 7:30 p.m. Friday at an apartment on Pleasant near Fedora Avenue.
A witness reported seeing smoke coming from the attic vents. Crews contained the flames to one bedroom, and the damage is estimated at $5,000.
Investigators are now looking for suspects in both cases.
