A new building under construction at Fresno High School caught on fire Sunday. Fire crews rushed to the campus around noon and found flames coming from the roof.

Investigators say they later discovered a piece of reflective tubing was laying in the direct sunlight and ignited some cardboard. Firefighters say the biggest challenge was getting to the top of the building.

Kris Townsend of Fresno City Fire Dept. said, "We did have difficulty finding access points going to the roof...made access to the was quickly extinguished once we got up there. We used water cans to extinguish it."

Officials say the damage was minimal, and crews only cleared a small debris pile from the area that caught on fire.
