The California citrus industry is trying to find a way to keep beetle eggs out of its exports to South Korea.

Ag experts say if a plan is not found by January, to prevent the eggs of the "fuller rose beetle" from getting into the supply it could stop the shipments of navel oranges to South Korea.

South Korea is the top importer of California navels, bringing about $213-million to the state's citrus industry, every year.
