A Fresno church is looking to send a few of its members on a trip that could ultimately save someone's life. And today parishioners hit the streets to raise money for the trip.

Northeast Fresno's Assembly of God held a car wash fundraiser on the church campus at First and Ashlan Avenues. Donations will be used to send a leadership team to a Celebrate Recovery summit in southern California this summer.

Celebrate Recovery is a Christian-based program to help individuals overcome addictions.

More than 700,000 people have gone through the Celebrate Recovery program in more than 17,000 churches worldwide.
