Fresno man attempts 7,600 mile skateboarding world record

FRESNO, Calif.

Myster Holliman, the head track coach at Fresno Christian High School, will embark on a cross country journey where he will attempt to set a new world record for longest distance traveled by skateboard.

Holliman will drive from Fresno to Seattle, where he will begin his skateboard journey on June 1. Over the next eight months Holliman will make his way through the United States towards Miami Beach, Florida.

The current record stands at 7555.25 miles and was set in 2008 by Rob Thomson of New Zealand. Halliman's journey will take him 7,600 miles.
