Investigators say a man was riding his bike on Cedar near Shields Thursday night when he came across a group of people. Authorities say, someone in the group called him over and started stabbing him for no reason.
Police say the victim lost a lot of blood at the scene and was rushed to the hospital. At last check he was listed in serious condition.
No arrests have been made.
"For unknown reasons one of the male subjects called the victim over, and for unknown reasons stabbed him several times," said Lt. Jose Garza, Fresno Police Department.
At last check the victim was in surgery and listed in serious condition in a Fresno hospital.
