Nuns on a bus support immigration reform

FRESNO, Calif.

The Catholic sisters arrived in Fresno on Saturday as part of a cross country tour. They began in New Jersey on May 29th and will end in San Francisco on Tuesday.

The nuns have stopped in 15 states, urging lawmakers to support a roadmap to citizenship for 11 million immigrants.

Many opponents of the current immigration reform bill want increased border security first. The nuns' next stop is at congressman Jeff Denham's office in Modesto on Monday.
