It happened early Thursday morning at Carz 4 Less off Belmont between Palm and Safford.
The business owner says a man jumped a fence and tried to steal three vehicles.
Pedro Porras' family owns Carz 4 Less off Belmont and Safford. His surveillance cameras captured the whole act on camera early Thursday morning.
In the video, you can see the person climb the fence, fall and walk into the business. Then he tries stealing a pickup truck, one that didn't even run. Next, he gets into a car, ramming the gate repeatedly, all while vehicles drive by.
After two unsuccessful attempts, the burglar tries one more time. Once the burglar made it through the fence, he took off through the neighborhood and eventually crashed into a tree and fled the scene.
The business says this isn't the first time they've been targeted by this burglar.
"It should never happen in the first place," said Pedro. "I'm guessing three times in the last two years."
In addition to the images captured on camera, the suspect left behind a bloody trail of hand prints. Its evidence the family hopes will eventually lead to his arrest so they can rest easier.
Pedro said, "Because they will come back, they're not afraid to break in."
If you have any information on the suspect, you're urged to call Fresno police.
