The accident happened on I-5, near Santa Nella. Officers said a 29-year-old man driving a Toyota drifted across the center median into oncoming traffic Friday evening. He collided with a Ford Taurus carrying six people.
The drivers of both cars were killed, along with one adult passenger. A 4-year-old girl and an infant were flown to a hospital with serious injuries. Two other adult passengers suffered moderate to major injuries
