Emergency workers treated two patients after a fire in Downtown Fresno Sunday night.

The flames started around 9:30 p.m. at Ventura and F streets in Fresno. Some tents at the homeless encampment in that area burned, and at least one person was being checked for smoke inhalation.

Crews had the fire under control by 10 p.m. They are still investigating the cause of the fire.
