Mexican mangoes are hitting American stores a little earlier than usual.

The National Mango Board says the rate at which mangoes have arrived in the U.S. is ahead of last year's shipments. The number of Mexican mango exports to the U.S. is expected to be greater this year, which might lead to lower prices at the grocery store.

Mexico is the world's largest exporter of mangoes.
