Vehicles catch fire outside buildings on Elm and North in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif.

Fresno City and Cal Fire crews responded to the blaze on Elm and North around 7 p.m. Officials say ten vehicles being stored there were on fire, and three others were damaged by the heat.

Firefighters managed to keep the flames from spreading to any buildings, despite a few challenges.

"There are some dangers from the fire and vehicles and the tight quarters, but working together we were able to extend lines and extinguish the fire," said Carlos Pacheco, a Fresno Fire Captain.

No one was injured, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
