Fresno police investigate kidnapping of former Fresno County official

Fresno police are investigating the apparent kidnapping and robbery of a former Fresno County official.

The ordeal began Monday morning at a home on 7th Street and Portland in Northeast Fresno. The home belongs to Tim Casagrande, who retired last year as the county's Director of Emergency Services. Casagrande was later found in his car in a West Fresno neighborhood.
