3.9 earthquake strikes Mammoth Lakes area

The United States Geological Survey (USGS) is reporting that a 3.9 magnitude earthquake stuck at 10:04 a.m. on Monday 11 miles southeast of Mammoth Lakes.

The earthquake struck in a remote area of Mono County, but was felt as far south as Bishop, and as far North as Mi-Wuk Village and Sonora in Tuolumne County. Several people in Yosemite National Park also reported feeling the earthquake according to the USGS.
