Officials say a train coming to Fresno from the Bay Area had an engine failure Sunday afternoon. The problem caused it to stall on the tracks in Antioch in Contra Costa County.
Hundreds of passengers were forced to board buses to Stockton, and then take a different train to Fresno.
However, the second train also had a power failure near Modesto -- delaying the trip even more.
The train arrived in Fresno around midnight.
