Barnes, a 23-year-old Long Beach resident, pleaded guilty to possessing a destructive device in a court offer. He was sentenced to 36 days in jail, three years of informal probation, 100 hours of community service and has been ordered to stay away from Disneyland.

On May 28, Barnes was in possession of two water bottles containing dry ice. The combination can explode and destroy property and cause injury.

One of the dry-ice bombs exploded at a vending cart Barnes had been tending; the other exploded in a nearby trash bag.

Anaheim police officers and an Orange County Sheriff's Department bomb squad responded to the scene. Police identified Barnes as the responsible party and he was arrested at the scene, according to the Orange County District Attorney's Office.
