Cake Mix Snickerdoodles

What You'll Need:

• 2 tablespoons sugar
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1 (18-1/4-ounce) package white cake mix (see Note)
• 1 stick butter, melted
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

What To Do:

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. In a small bowl, mix together sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
   
   
2. In a large bowl, mix together cake mix, butter, egg, and vanilla with a spoon until dough forms. (Some dry mix will remain.) Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
   
   
3. Roll balls in sugar mixture, then place about 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
   
   
4. Bake 10 to 12 minutes, or until set. Remove from baking sheets to cooling racks.

Note: We tested this recipe with both the 18.25 ounce box as well as a 15.25 ounce box of cake mix and both batches of cookies came out the same. Either size box will work for this recipe.
