Firefighters say two vehicles were involved in the accident at the intersection of Goshen Avenue and Stevenson Street.
One of them severed a Southern California Edison pole, which knocked out power to all customers within a half mile radius more than two hundred people.
Officials don't have an estimated time that power will be restored. The two drivers involved in the crash were taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center with minor to moderate injuries.
Authorities are still investigating the collision.
