Animals at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo are celebrating Valentine's Day a little early.

They received treats made with love by the animal care staff and volunteers Sunday. The special snacks were placed inside boxes to get encourage foraging and a little extra play time.

Several different animals took part in the holiday enrichment activities, including the red ruffed lemurs. Staff members also hung colorful decorations in their habitats as part of the celebration.
