New information has been released about a deadly house fire, which occurred near the Fresno County community of Easton on Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities said 69-year-old Douglas Coolidge was killed in the fire near Adams and West avenues.

A neighbor said on Tuesday that the homeowner's dog tried to pull her into the house, likely to help save Coolidge. The neighbor said she wasn't able to get very far into the home.

The fire was caused by electrical issues with a space heater, according to investigators.
