Officers arrived and through investigation learned that Denell Johnson, 38 years old from Tulare, was involved in sexual relationships with female minors over the last six years. The victim's ranged in age from 13 to 17 years old. Denell Johnson was arrested for Lewd Acts with a Minor and Annoying or Molesting a Person under the age of 18. He was booked at the Tulare County Jail.
Denell Johnson is a registered sex offender in the State of California. Denell Johnson is currently, and has been involved as a coach for girl's youth sports in the Tulare area. This investigation revealed there may be additional victims of similar crimes that have yet to be identified.
