A father and son are in jail after a bust at a marijuana grow site that had a lookout tower meant for an armed sniper, authorities said.

Sheriff's deputies surrounded the home at Del Rey and Butler in Fresno County on Thursday.

Investigators said they found more than 300 marijuana plants, along with more than 600 pounds of pot ready for sale. They said a guard shack was used to protect hundreds of thousands of dollars in pot.

Southisack Phavorachith, 29, and Keo Bounkhong, 55, were arrested. Both men face charges for allegedly growing and selling the drugs.
