Paraglider rescued after crashing near Dunlap

Rescue crews helped save a Southern California paraglider after he crashed in Fresno County on Saturday.

Deputies and Cal Fire crews were called out to a hill on Kings Canyon Road near Dunlap around 3 p.m. The 45-year-old man had equipment problems while in the air and crash-landed.

The Fresno County Sheriff's Department helicopter found the victim and flew him to a safe area for treatment. The man was complaining of back pain, but his injuries are considered minor.
