They say more than half of the vacant home near Belmont and Poplar was already destroyed when they arrived around 2 a.m. Monday. Crews say the flames were shooting 30-feet into the air because of gusty winds.
Investigators say the cause of the fire appears to be suspicious because no one lives there and the power was shut off. No one was injured.
