Redding police arrested Arturo Morfin, 24, on Saturday at his job. The Winton man is currently being held at the Shasta County Jail and is set to be extradited back to Merced County.
Overall, there have been 11 arrests connected to the December 23 murder of Francisco Pena. Authorities say the 33-year-old victim had several run-ins with the law in the past. They say Pena may have died in a firefight in Winton with an unknown number of shooters in an alley at Myrtle Avenue and California Street.
