Dad files restraining order against 9-year-old son's alleged bully

FAIRFIELD, Calif.

Stephen Feuder says his 9-year-old son has been pushed around and even hit in the face by one student at his elementary school. When he says the school district refused to do anything about it, he did the only thing he could think of and filed a restraining order against the student.

"I've tried everything else, so why not try that? And it was granted," said Feuder.

"Commonly for us it's a domestic violence situation; obviously this is a little bit different," said Deputy Daryl Snedeker with the Solano County Sheriff's Office.

The order has to be served within five days, which may be difficult since the school won't release the alleged bully's name or address.

Some parents think Feuder is sending the wrong message, but he says he's just doing what he had to in order to protect his son.
