The crash happened on Brawley Avenue, south of Highway 180, just after 7:30 p.m. Monday.
Officers say a white pickup truck was trying to make a left turn, when a service van failed to stop at a red light and crashed into it. They say the driver of the van was killed in the crash.
The driver of the pickup was not hurt. Authorities say he did not have a license.
A portion of southbound Brawley Avenue was closed due to the fatal crash, but it was reopened around 10:15 p.m.
