The highway patrol said when paramedics arrived at the scene, they found 20-year-old Francisco Lopez dead. Investigators said the preliminary investigation indicates Lopez tumbled down the dirt embankment from Ventura Street and landed in the road on Golden State Boulevard -- directly in front of an oncoming big rig.
Investigators said they are still looking for the driver of the big rig. They also said they are unsure if other vehicles may have hit Lopez.
