Spokesperson Dana Howard says Californians will no longer be able to apply online unless they began the registration process by midnight Monday.
Instead, those people will be able to enroll through a trained specialist, such as a certified enrollment counselor or insurance agent, between now and tax day.
"Even those people who found it difficult, or could not get online, or showed up at the centers, we're going to get them over the finish line," said Howard. "We're going to work with them as long as they contact a certified insurance agent or certified enrollment counselor to get that application completed and a plan selected."
