Moms are racking up the savings at this spring's Just Between Friends Sale. First time mom Naomi Prieto says the cost of having an infant can be overwhelming.
"It makes me feel like I need three jobs," said Prieto. "Especially for this one because he eats so much and loves to play."
But Thursday, she was able to find what she needed and keep some money in her pocket.
Prieto added, "I am saving at least a hundred dollars if not more than that."
Just Between Friends started in Visalia 12 years ago and has seen success in Fresno for five years. Event Coordinator Laura Ancheta says social media has helped the sale grow exponentially.
Ancheta said, "I think we had about seventy consigners at our first sale, and this sale we have about three hundred and fifty."
If you're not looking to buy, you can always sell. Just Between Friends gets their inventory from consigners, or people who are selling their gently used items. All items go through a quality check, and big ticket items like strollers, car seats, and baby swings are always inspected for safety.
Ancheta explained, "We do expiration checks on all the car seats and the stroller and everything so that everything here is safe."
The sale runs through April 12th, and the items that are not sold here at the sale will be donated to the Neighborhood Thrift store in Fresno.
Due to the ever growing popularity and demand for the event, Just Between Friends has just announced that it will be expanding with a sale in the city of Hanford.
