Authorities in Merced have arrested a suspect in a string of sexual assaults on women that date back more than two years.

Merced police say Yeng Kong Moua is responsible for those assaults.

At least seven women reported being approached since March 2012. The attacker targeted a woman who was looking for help after her car broke down. Attacks also happened to women jogging late at night or early in the morning. Investigators say the suspect attempted to grope his victims and even tried kissing them.

In one case, a woman carrying laundry to her apartment says she was confronted by a man who was not wearing pants. She says she had to fight him off and get away.
