1 arrested for trying to rob Home Depot store at knife-point

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police officers took a man into custody that tried to steal items from Home Depot in Northwest Fresno.

Officers say they received a call about an armed robbery at the Home Depot on Shaw and Valentine around 11 a.m. on Friday.

The suspect had tried to take items from the store and then pulled a knife on a store employee.

Fortunately, no one was injured.
