ATWATER, Calif. (KFSN) -- An arson investigation is underway after a fire burned through several apartments in Atwater. Authorities say the flames broke out just before 5 a.m. Sunday in an alley between the apartments on Atwater Boulevard near First Street and a tire shop next door.
Everyone made it out safely, but 11 people are now displaced. The Red Cross was called in to help those families.
Authorities are looking for a person of interest, but they have not released a name.
