Wildfire north of Auberry now 80 percent contained

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Firefighters continue battling a wildfire in the Fresno County foothills. The 60-acre wildfire near Kerkhoff Lake is now 80 percent contained.

The flames were first spotted along Powerhouse Road, north of Auberry, on Saturday afternoon. Cal Fire officials say lightning may also be to blame for starting the blaze. They say full containment is expected on Monday.
