Body found near Pine Flat Lake identified

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A positive identity on the body found near Pine Flat Lake.

The coroner's office confirms the skeletal remains are that of 81-year-old Zillabell "Jane" Friesen.

A fire crew assigned to the Rough Fire found her Ford Escape on a rugged road in the Tollhouse area of Fresno County on Sunday. Her body was about a-half mile away.

Friesen was reported missing on July 21st.
