Police investigating after body found in central Fresno canal

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police are investigating after a body was found in a central Fresno canal Tuesday morning.

Authorities got a call of a possible drowning in the area of Clinton and Millbrook around 11 a.m.

When officers arrived, they discovered a body in the water.

This is being investigated as a suspicious death.
