FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Tower District favorite is closing down after nearly ten years in business. Owners of Charlotte's Baker-Eatery in Central Fresno have announced plans to shut down the business in a few weeks.

The shop in the area of Olive and Echo is best known for the sourdough bread they bake fresh every day -- and their sandwiches. They also offer a variety of sweet treats: including cupcakes and eclairs.

Owners say they are thankful for all the support from their loyal customers over the years but it's time to retire. But they aren't going too far. You will be able to visit them at the Farmers Market, where they will sell gluten-free baked goods.

Their last day of business is on April 24th. And a familiar name will take over their location: Dusty Buns is moving in next month.
