Guliano's Fruits, Nuts & Veggies opens near Madera Ranchos

MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- There's a new place to buy produce in the North Valley.

Guliano's Fruits, Nuts & Veggies is located along Highway 41 near Avenue 10 1/2; that's near the Madera Ranchos. The market says it sells local foods and specialty vinegars often cheaper than you'd find at the grocery store.

"We try to keep them under grocery store prices to bring customers in. How we do that is we grow our own fruits and vegetables and so therefore we can keep our prices low; we're not competing to buy and resell," said Julie Nonini, owner of Guliano's.

Many items in the family-run store are not only locally-grown but also organic. Guliano's is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
