Jersey Mike's Subs opens 1st Fresno location, helps Boys & Girls Club

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The opening of a new sandwich shop is providing help to a local nonprofit group benefitting Valley children.

Jersey Mike's Subs opened its first Fresno location on Wednesday at the El Paseo shopping center at Herndon Avenue and Highway 99. The chain is known for its fresh and grilled sub sandwiches.

From now through Aug. 2, a portion of all money the store makes will go toward the Boys & Girls Club of Fresno County.

Jersey Mike's is opening eight more locations in the Valley. They're open seven days a week.
