Krispy Kreme Donuts returns to Fresno
Hundreds of people lined up Tuesday morning at the new Krispy Kreme Donuts location in north Fresno.

FRESNO, California -- Hundreds of people lined up Tuesday morning at the new Krispy Kreme Donuts location in north Fresno. Early birds started camping out on Sunday for free donuts.

Krispy Kreme has some special gifts for those in line early. The first person in line will receive one dozen donuts per week for one year. Just behind that person, the next 99 people get a dozen per month for a year. The first one hundred customers also get a T-shirt.

Early birds started camping out on Monday for free donuts.

Doors opened at 5:30 on Tuesday.

Krispy Kreme Donuts is located in north Fresno at Blackstone and Bullard and will open every day at 5am.

The last time Fresno had a Krispy Kreme was from 2001 to 2007. This new location created 60 to 80 full and part time jobs.

Krispy Kreme has some special gifts for those in line early.
