MADERA RANCHOS, Calif. (KFSN) -- A proposed shopping center in Madera Ranchos is about to become reality.

In a unanimous vote, Madera County supervisors approved the development of a 40-acre parcel of land across from Liberty High School along Avenue 12 and Road 36.

Construction is set to begin in the spring of 2015 and will include a drug store and convenience store, along with a gas station, two fast-food restaurants and a library.
