VISALIA, Calif. (KFSN) -- The decorations are up along Main Street in Visalia and the floats are getting their final touches for Monday night's big parade.

The 70th annual Candy Cane Lane Parade is one of the longest nighttime parades in the Valley and this year's theme is Vintage Christmas.

The parade route is a mile and half long through Main Street between Liberty and Conyer and goes in east to west direction. The parade includes 111 entries like marching bands, floats, baton twirlers, dancing groups and more. The parade kicks off at 7:00 p.m. This year's grand marshal is Charlotte Wittig.

More than 25,000 people are expected to come out and see all the holiday fun.

After the parade, the Grinch will open up his home to visit with the community and help raise funds for the Visalia Rescue Mission.

If you miss out on the Candy Cane Lane Parade ABC30 will air a one-hour special featuring the best highlights of the parade on Sunday, December 13 at 7:00 p.m.
