FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- A baby who survived a fiery wreck near Easton has been identified. Her family said she is 6-month-old Ariana Hancock and her parents, both died in the solo vehicle crash.

Ariana Hancock is with family. She's just 6-months-old, too young to remember the crash she was in. A horrific scene, Gerry Sanchez witnessed it, and she can't get it out of her mind.

Gerry said, "We opened up the front door and I'm like, 'there's a baby crying, and I said, there's a fire, there's a fire."

Her husband, Jose, risked his life to save the baby. She was on the ground, next to a burning SUV and surrounded by live power lines, from a broken pole.

Jose explained, "I grabbed the baby took off, didn't get too far and everything just started coming."

Ariana's parents were inside the vehicle. Sanchez said the dad was in the front seat, and the mom, was in the back, both died in the fire.

Gerry said, "Trying to get her out of the car, just maybe trying to move and get her out so I'm thinking maybe she was in a car seat and the mom was able to get her out, maybe she'll be ok."

Hours later, there was a reunion at the hospital. Family members identified baby Ariana, they couldn't speak with us on camera because they're still dealing with the pain. And the loss of Ariana's parents, Wendy Hancock and Gabriel Garcia. They're also waiting for the coroner to confirm what they already know.

"It's just gonna be a long road of forensics, it's gonna come down to dental work, possibly even DNA to determine if it is, in fact the people who we think they are."

We're told the baby suffered 3rd degree burns on 4 percent of her body, and she'll be at the hospital at least until Monday.
