Home Depot hiring thousands of seasonal workers

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Home Depot is hiring 80,000 seasonal workers, ahead of the spring rush.

The world's largest home improvement retailer has been hiring about 80,000 seasonal workers every year for a decade, and about half of them turn into permanent employees.

The seasonal hiring means each of Home Depot's 2,000 stores in the US will hire 40 to 45 workers.

In Fresno, Home Depot is hoping to fill 180 positions at four stores

they include operations, sales and cashiers.
