Thousands of women converge on Downtown Fresno for the Central California Women's Conference
World-class snowboarder and 2014 Paralympic medalist Amy Purdy will be the keynote speaker and this year's theme is "Embrace Your Journey."

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Thousands of women will be in Downtown Fresno for a day empowerment at the 30th annual Central California Women's Conference. The conference is expected to bring out more than 3,500 women to the event.

World-class snowboarder and 2014 Paralympic medalist Amy Purdy will be the keynote speaker and this year's theme is "Embrace Your Journey."

With thousands of women coming to the area, traffic may be slow in Downtown Fresno. You might want to head out the door a few minutes earlier if your commute takes you Downtown.

The conference is expected to bring out more than 3,500 women to the event.

Also, if you are thinking of coming to this event online registration is already closed, however, there are a limited number of tickets you can purchase at the door for $120-- they will not be accepting credit cards.
