Police searching for suspect who stabbed man while walking in Central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Officials say it happened at around 2 a.m. on Sunday along Princeton and Blackstone Avenues.

The victim says the suspect approached him asking for a lighter.

After that exchange, he allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed him.

The victim suffered a small laceration on the right side of his head.

Authorities say the suspect took off towards Blackstone Avenue wearing a red shirt and green camo cargo pants.
