Twin brothers, woman arrested in string of Valley burglaries

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno County authorities have caught up with what they call a crew of burglars who've struck all across the Valley.

Twin brothers Jacob and Joshua Ryan, 18, along with Trent Murphy, 21, and Desiree Jacinto Villalobos, 19, are accused of being responsible for more than a half dozen burglaries during the last two months. The crimes stretch from Madera down to Visalia and include home burglaries, vehicle break-ins and vehicle thefts.

Investigators made the arrests after spotting one of the suspects driving a stolen red Jaguar through the Old Fig Garden neighborhood.

"This is a great get, all the way around for local law enforcement and for the community as a whole. This crew had basically been going around for the last month or two ripping people off, and yesterday through great work by our deputies, they were spotted and finally taken off the streets," said Tony Botti, spokesman for the Fresno County Sheriff's Office.

Quite a bit of stolen merchandise was found inside the stolen Jaguar. Authorities say the sheriff's department is working with Clovis and Fresno police to return the stolen property to its rightful owners.
