ZooLights at Chaffee Zoo

It is the final weekend for ZooLights in 2017. The holiday event has been going on since the first week of December. Miles of festive lights light up pathways to different exhibits at the zoo, giving it a holiday feel.

There will be live entertainment, treats, and beverages for adults and children. Tickets are $7 per child, $9 per adult, and prices are discounted if you are a season ticket holder.

Hmong New Year's Celebration

Two separate Hmong New year's celebrations are underway in Fresno through next Monday. Organizers estimate 120,000 Hmong people from around the country will visit the Fresno Fairgrounds, during its seven-day run. Admission to the event is $5 per person.

For another celebration Granite Park, it costs $4 to attend. Everyone is welcome to take part in the festivities.

Onesies & Waffles Full Circle Brewing Hosting

Full Circle Brewing is hosting a fun event featuring a perfect pairing--onesies and waffles. Visitors are being encouraged to wear their favorite onesies. Yes, the pajama and have some chicken and waffles while listening to live music. The event runs from eight to midnight.

Dave and Busters New Years

Dave and Busters is hosting two separate events Sunday night. You can watch the ball drop with a party at the restaurant and arcade, beginning at 9 p.m. There is a $32 cover charge- which provides a power card to play games and a balloon drop at midnight. This party is for adults only but a separate event at Dave and Busters earlier in the day gives little ones the opportunity to have a celebration of their own. This one runs from 5 to 8 p.m. and costs $43 per person.

The Standard New Year's Celebration

The Standard is hosting a New Year's Eve event at the Northeast Fresno Nightclub. Space is limited for this 21 and older event. Less than 100 tickets remain and they are $40 at the door. The party begins at 8 p.m.

China Peak New Year's Eve

If you are feeling adventurous, hit the slopes at China Peak for the day. The resort is hosting a free event for skiers and snowboarders. There will be contests with prizes given out, once that event is over at 5 p.m., families are invited to spend time at the restaurant and bar to ring in the new year.
