Central Valley celebrates Three Kings Day with Rosca de Reyes

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The holiday commemorates the arrival of the Three Wise Men who visited baby Jesus twelve days after he was born to give him gifts.

Many bakeries here have been working around the clock making the oval-shaped dessert.

Saavedra's Bakery in Central Fresno says this special holiday is great for business.

"If you're a Mexican bakery and you don't really do it then it's kind of like difficult to keep business going especially on this day because business booming this day for all the Mexican bakeries," Cesar Saavedra said.

Inside the cake is a baby figurine, if you find it, you are supposed to host a party on February 2.
